Is this the up to date UI for a comments window? e.g. is is possible to include a similar toolbar to vanilla forums where a user can style text / add images etc.

@louise, That's not possible at this time, but I'll certainly mention it in our internal forums.
Keep in mind, though, people can still add the style depending on the editor type you choose -- there are just no editor buttons. Or they can add the html to add an image.
The comments are also cross posted to the forum, so people can head there and edit as necessary -- if needed.
Hope that helps and thanks for your question

Does Vanilla work with new Blogger (Blogspot) templates? If so, what happens to existing Blogger Comments?0
-
You can use Vanilla comments in blogger, some people will keep both as they transition. The old comments will not display in Vanilla, only new comments made.

The wordpress plugin isn't updated for years. Is this still relevant for use nowadays?0 -
@chrisfebian yes, it still works. You actually just used it to leave this comment

Nice one. Does this embed in non wordpress e.g. python framework websites and can it sort top comments?0
-
@plinmate Yes, the embed works for non-WordPress. You use the universal code.
